How to Add a New Entry

New Entries

For the sake of consistency, please use the templates for new movieTV show, song, trial or news broadcast and print entries. These templates are available via the New Page option. The"Basic Information" section is required content, which helps other users find and evaluate the clip; the Additional Information section is for other optional info. 

 

Site Organization

The site is organized in this way: 

1. Primary Topical Folders (currently: Legal Concepts, Research Techniques, Site Admin and Organization, and Teaching Resources -- consider carefully before adding to this first level)

2. Primary Sub-Topic Folders (e.g. "Search Parameters")

  • Sub-Sub Topic Folders can be appropriate as well (e.g. "Plagiarism", found within "Intellectual Property") 

3. Individual Pages

  • Naming convention for page titles:
    • (MOVIE) Movie Title, e.g. All the President's Men
    • (TV EPISODE) Show Title Production Number - Episode Title, e.g. The Middleman 1x07 - The Cursed Tuba Contingency
    • (SONG) Artist - Track Name, e.g. Aerosmith - Janie's Got a Gun
    • (PRINT) Author - Title, e.g. John Grisham - The Pelican Brief (No title? Feel free to give it one.) 
    • (TRIAL/NEWS BROADCAST) Trial/Show Name - Title (No title? Feel free to give it one.)
